I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in June of 2007. I did 6 months of chemotherapy and 2 1/2 weeks of radiation. At which point I was cancer free!!!! In November of 2010 I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. After several months of blood transfusions and extreme chemotherapy sessions I was placed on a list to recieve a Bone Marrow Transplant. March 31st, 2011, I received the gift of life from a wonderful anonymous woman that I hope to meet one day!!

Nausea
I am on my last day of chemo and I can't believe how badly the nausea has gotten to me this time. I know they have all these meds that are suppose to help but they make me sleepy and I sleep my whole day away. The docs say that I'll probably have a few more days of feeling like this before I feel better. Hopefully by the time the girls come up for a visit this weekend I will feel better.

Janie janie...how much does this all suck!!! You are a trooper. I would be bawling my head off and feeling sorry for myself, but you just kinda take it as it comes. I respect your ability to doo this..Yea, I know, what choice do you have? Well, you could just fold like a big tent and be a big baby like I would! Anyway, this is the long way of sying I admire you!
